CHEM-A1211 Principles of General Chemistry

I am the responsible teacher for this 5 ECTS introductory chemistry course in the English-language Chemical Engineering major at Aalto University School of Chemical Engineering. Topics covered include atoms and the periodic table, bonding, chemical reactions and stoichiometry and the chemical equilibrium.

CHEM-C1240 General Chemistry Laboratory Course

I am the responsible teacher for this 5 ECTS introductory laboratory course for Chemical Engineering students. Our practicals include acid-base and redox titration, gravimetric analysis, atomic absorbtion spectroscopy and spectrophotometry.

LC Physical Chemistry I Tutorials (2023-2024)

I taught physical chemistry tutorials to first-year sutdents at the University of Birmingham in a small-group setting. Topics included thermodynamics and the chemical equilibrium, chemical kinetics and optical spectroscopy.
